We’re a small, third-generation family butcher shop built on tradition, skill and pride in what we do. Butchery isn’t just our trade — it’s part of our family history, passed down and perfected over generations.
We source only the highest quality, locally produced meat, working closely with trusted suppliers and small family-run farms who share our standards. Our beef, pork, lamb and poultry are selected not just for flavour and consistency, but for the highest welfare standards Scotland is renowned for.
We believe great meat starts with responsible farming — and we’re proud to support producers who put care and welfare first.
Everything we make in-store reflects that same commitment to quality. Our sausages, burgers, pies and puddings are prepared using classic family recipes that have been refined over decades — proper traditional butchery, done the right way.

Scottish Beef and Lamb
We work closely with two of Scotland’s most established meat suppliers, with long-standing relationships that allow us to source hand-selected Beef anto our exact specification — native breed, well-marbled and full of flavour.
The majority of our Beef and Lamb comes from farms on the West Coast of Scotland, where cattle and sheep are free-roaming and grass-fed on natural pastures.
The fresh air, climate and landscape make it one of the finest regions in the country for producing exceptional Beef and Lamb.

British Chicken
We’re one of only a handful of butchers in the country to supply exclusively UK-sourced chicken — no imports, no compromises.
UK poultry is produced to far higher welfare standards, resulting in a clear difference in quality, texture and flavour. With fewer food miles travelled, our chicken also arrives fresher than imported alternatives.
Just as importantly, by choosing UK-sourced poultry, money spent stays within the UK economy — supporting British farmers, strengthening local supply chains and helping sustain jobs.

Ayrshire Pork and Bacon
Our Pork, Bacon and Gammon are sourced from Robertsons Fine Foods, an Ayrshire producer with a long-standing reputation for quality.
They source Scottish Pork from their own farms, giving full control over welfare, consistency and traceability. Their Bacon and Gammon are traditionally dry-cured, a slower process that delivers better flavour, firmer texture and less shrinkage.
They operate their own traditional smokehouse, giving products such as Ham Ribs and Shanks an authentic, natural smokey flavour.
Animal Welfare Standards
All our meat is sourced in line with traditional Scottish butchery standards, with animal welfare as the highest priority. Scotland is renowned for its high welfare standards — something that has been built over generations and should be celebrated.
We only work with producers who use pre-stun slaughter methods. Non-stun or reduced-stun slaughter is proven to be less humane and does not meet the welfare standards we expect.
For that reason, we do not — and will not — supply halal or kosher meat.
